Summer Intermission

I'm taking a little break.

I've been trying to soak up the last of the summer break with my girls. They start school soon...

some days it's not soon enough.

I'm going on a vacation.

Time to visit the BFF that left me for a job in another state.



Picture me, three young kids and only 3 seats on a plane.

Should be cozy.

But soooo worth it.

Please pray for those around us.

We are so excited to hang out with friends.

Friends we only get to see once or twice a year.

I haven't even met the baby yet.

She turns one in 8 days.

Check back next week and I'll have so much to post. I haven't even posted 4th of July stuff yet.

I know you're excited! I know you're thinking, "Crap! I can't wait another week for a post from Heather!" I'm sure my posts about running through sprinklers and playing in sandboxes are the highlight of your day! Stay tuned and you won't be disappointed...

(Okay...so I may have gotten a little sarcastic at the end of this post. I'm just wondering if anyone cares what we do on a day-to-day basis. But in case you are one of the few people who keeps peeking in on our little corner of the world, yea, I'll be back soon. Whatever.)

Family Picture-Take Two

Here are the pictures in full color-I tried washing them out in the previous post...I just can't decide what I like the best. Misty-I could never hate your opinions...so how are your Photoshop skills? In the top picture I hate how Hannah is so dark compared to the rest of us. It makes it look like she was added in digitally! But in the second one, Emma has a leaf, or something, in front of her which adds a funny blur. Can these problems be fixed? Does someone want to volunteer to help? I'll come to you-and I could come with treats and caffeine!

I really need to do something before it's just time to take a new picture because my girls are teens.

Then there are the days that I want a less formal picture than this one.

What to do? Hmmmm....

I finally got the disk for Holly's wedding pictures. I've got two family pictures to choose from. (Yes, there were a bunch of others but trust me, they aren't worth any consideration!)
