Success!

Move over Pillsbury, here I come! 'Fresh' bread around here usually pops out of a can and is ready in about 15 minutes. Today I tried a recipe for Easy Rolls and I must say they were mighty yummy! Nothing makes me feel like a successful homemaker like making fresh bread, from scratch. Next I might have to try grinding the flour from whole wheat, but that sounds way to ambitious today-maybe next year. So for all you homemakers out there, here is the recipe:

Easy Rolls

Mix together and set aside:
2 pkg. Yeast (2 T.)
2 C. warm water or milk
1 T. sugar

Beat together:
2 eggs
2 tsp. salt
1/2 C. sugar
1/3 C. oil

Add yeast mixture and 6 C. flour (more if needed)

Let raise 20 min. Then shape and let raise another 20 min.
Bake 15-20 min. in 350 degree oven.

*side note: I let mine raise longer than the recipe called for.

I made the broccoli cheese casserole for dinner tonight (actually made it last night but since Randy didn't get home till after 11 I decided to wait & cook it tonight instead)-can't wait to see how it turned out! I love your recipes, you need to post the pork recipe from Saturday it was delicious!
